It matched my expectations for a small boutique hotel. The entertainment and restaurants were further away than I thought. I arrived that morning but didn’t get a room until about 3 pm, though it didn’t seem crowded. I had to use the basement restroom to change for my event, and it was hot and humid down there.

The breakfast wasn’t included and the EU‑style breakfast was pricey. The hotel’s scent didn’t inspire good feelings, and the hallways were shy.

I loved the staff friendliness, the room furnishings and decor, and the great location near the trolley stop, but the corridors could use lighter decor.

A great spot only four minutes from the beach, but the hotel was far from clean; kneeling on the floor of the lobby and the room left my knees black, the sink was tiny, and there was no surface to set my things or plug in the coffee maker, so I had to place it on the floor because no outlet was nearby. The staff were friendly and the price was reasonable for a day, although breakfast wasn’t included. The cleanliness issue was compounded by blaring music at the entrance and continuous construction noise from a neighboring building that was just starting residential work.
