The chalet sits on the canal edge, and the radiators kept us warm. The downside was the noise from the nearby airport, highway, and train; the nights were really tough.

I stayed in a tent with a view of the water, which was delightful because I could watch the boats drift by every day. The place felt peaceful and I didn’t hear the A4, planes, or trains as some other reviews mentioned. The only noise came from the loud scooters, and the hut wasn’t very clean before we arrived – you could only walk around one side of the bed.

The setting was nice, the accommodation was unusual, the size was right, and the bedding was good. However, the proximity to the airport and highway made it cold and the floor cleanliness was an issue – you might want slippers or flip‑flops.

The spot is very pretty. The gamping units are nice and comfortable, each with a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The only drawback is that you have to remove the sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and throw away the trash yourself. For the price it’s worth it, but it’s noisy.

The tent was well equipped for a glamping experience. The location was fine with a nice view of the canal, and the tent held up against wind, rain, and stormy gusts. Cleanliness was a problem – the kitchen pots were still dirty with food residue, used earplugs were left in the bedroom, and there were a lot of hairs in the shower (on the door handle). The cleaning staff sat on tables and spat on the paths, which was unpleasant, especially with guests in the neighboring tent. The highway was also very loud at night.
