We, as cyclists traveling along the Altmühltal cycle path, got exactly the roof studio shown on Booking. Great concept with a beverage fridge in the room and a balcony to relax with a welcome beer. Breakfast left no wishes unmet; we received it on two tablets and could chill in the room while eating. Wi‑Fi and TV were top, the bathroom was very clean; Frau Eger recommended the 1 km walk to the village tavern Wallmüllerstuben for dinner. The clever bike storage with charging for e‑bikes was also great. The beer selection could probably be expanded to include regional Franconian beers 🍻.

A friendly host. We even had breakfast in her garden. She had made a really tasty breakfast.

“Unterwegs auf dem Altmühltal Panoramaweg”

The location just east of the Altmühl valley was good for us, as we relaxed in the Altmühltherme after our hiking day. Otherwise it was a bit farther from the centre, which matters to some. Speaking of the thermal spa, we were given extra towels, very nice service. Overall Frau Eger was very friendly and attentive, had contacted us via WhatsApp beforehand about access and was otherwise all ears for questions or wishes. You can buy drinks cheaply from the fridge. The breakfast was exceptionally tasty and extensive, served at 8:00 on two trays in the room. We ate comfortably at the table in the room.

We felt completely at ease. The host was very nice and the check‑in was hassle‑free. The breakfast was truly generous and plentiful!

“Nie wieder!!!”

Wir waren zu früh, aber Frau Eger hat uns den Türcode zu Fahrradraum und Zimmer gegeben. Um 15 Uhr waren wir im Zimmer und stellten fest, dass nichts gesäubert war sowie Bettwäsche und Handtücher nicht gewechselt wurden. Im Zimmer lag ein Zettel: "Wegen Krankheit heute leider kein Frühstück" Deshalb sind wir mit den Rädern noch mal in den Ort gefahren. Um 18.30 Uhr waren wir zurück. Die einzige festgestellte Änderung war, dass die Bettdecken gefaltet waren. Frau Eger hat sich entschuldigt, dass sie wegen Krankheit nichts machen konnte. Wir sollten noch mal 1/2 Stunde in die Stadt gehen und dann würde sie alles erledigen. Das haben wir abgelehnt. Wir haben ihr geholfen, die Betten neu zu beziehen, Papierkörbe zu leeren und Handtücher zu wechseln. Anschließend habe ich WC, Waschbecken und Dusche geputzt. Frühstück haben für für 7.30 Uhr am nächsten Morgen bestellt. Am nächsten Morgen lag ein Zettel vor der Tür: "Leider kein Frühstück". Ich habe Frau Eger angerufen und gesagt, dass wir Frühstück bezahlt haben. Dann hat sie mir € 20 gegeben und wir sind in ein Café gegangen
