The owners welcomed us warmly, the room was comfy, and the early breakfast was a lifesaver for our 6am trail. The only downside was the wooden floors letting in a bit of neighbor noise.

A charming, cozy hotel in a great hiking spot, family‑run since 1888, originally a massive wooden alpine hut. Breakfast features the best Swiss cheese, L'Etivaz.
