The location is great, the river sounds and surroundings are really pleasant, and the owners are very kind; our kids felt right at home. It’s not too far from Hoedspruit, yet it still gives that nice feeling of being in the bush.

“Basic camping experience in lovely setting”
The river setting is really beautiful. The tent and bathroom were clean. The equipment needs an urgent upgrade, especially the plastic chairs at the braai, as well as plastic plates and tumblers—more of a backpacker standard than glamping.

A beautiful small‑scale ecolodge in a quiet nature park! We enjoyed a blissful stay by the river, with an open‑air shower and a luxury tent that had all the comforts. The owners were extremely friendly, provided lots of information, and we even got to enjoy a delicious homemade dinner on the braai and a tasty breakfast that was readily available early in the morning upon request. It’s a bit remote but easy to find thanks to clear directions, and the unique location offers a pleasant peace. What a recommendation—sad that we could only stay one night!
