The bed was comfortable, but the check‑in was terrible—lots of hidden charges and hours spent in an AI‑driven WhatsApp chat, the worst check‑in experience I’ve ever had.

The room was acceptable if you just need a place to get your head down, but the check‑in process was awful—hidden charges, hours of waiting, and a £19.97 priority fee that still left me without room details until about 18:00 even though check‑in was supposed to start at 16:00; I was on the verge of tears because I was booking for a group, and I absolutely hated it. The curtains didn’t fit the windows and the carpets and throw pillows were in terrible condition.

A quirky hotel near the seaside, quiet and reasonably priced, though it only had a microwave and no crockery or plates.

The whole building smelled bad with no airflow, wet folded tea towels lay by the kitchen where a leak had occurred, the shower was non‑functional, the noise level was extremely high, and the sheets carried a damp, sweaty odor; on top of that, after paying on the booking site you were hit with three additional fees just to obtain the building access codes, making the process incredibly difficult and annoying.

I had an ongoing complaint, so why am I being asked about it? The photos don’t match what the hotel actually looks like.
