“Despite the stress and confusion with the booking, my parents were able to enjoy their stay.”

The caravan’s spot was a major plus for us, right near the main facilities and amenities my parents love, which matters a lot to them. They’ve been visiting Chapel St Leonards since I was a kid, and turning 50 this year, it’s a place that’s held special memories for our family for years. Unfortunately a mix‑up happened when they arrived: I’d booked in my own name instead of my mum’s, caught the error, updated the reservation, and got a confirmation that the lead name was switched. Yet when they got there, the booking wasn’t listed under her name. After some confusion they finally got a key and entered the caravan. The next day I got an email saying the booking was cancelled and that payment would have to be made again. We couldn’t pay right away, so we had to wait for the original payment to be refunded before we could re‑pay. I was mainly worried that my parents, already inside, might be asked to leave while this was sorted out. The whole ordeal added unnecessary stress and worry, even though I had corrected the details soon after booking and had confirmation the change was processed.

“A great weekend”

Spotlessly clean and in a great location, with new accessories like kettle, toaster, etc. The only downside was limited storage.
