The location is good, but my room was a shoebox.

Breakfast was very varied and high quality, with fresh fruit salad, cereal, porridge, and full cooked options; they also catered well for different dietary needs, and each cooked breakfast was fresh and made to order with no trouble. The room had tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, a bonus that few places have now. The location is quiet and there is on‑site parking, and it’s an easy 20‑minute walk into the town centre. Nothing to complain about.

I had a very comfortable stay in a huge room, got a good night’s sleep—which is unusual for me when away from home—great breakfast, and really friendly hosts. I highly recommend. The only issue was a slight problem turning the shower off; it was really stiff.

It was a beautiful home perfectly located; the hosts Sheila and Steve were so welcoming and friendly that it felt like being home from home. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. A great selection of hot and cold breakfasts were available, and the poached eggs were to die for! I would definitely recommend, and I couldn’t find fault in anything.
