The beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly, but the hotel is infested with rats: I found a huge dead rat under my bed in the locker, asked for a room change, and then saw another rat climb onto my bed. I could hear them in the walls. When I showed the second rat to the staff, they said the rats were scared of me and wouldn’t bother me, which doesn’t solve the problem—I just want to sleep without a rat in my room. I ended up staying in the same room because paying extra for a private room seemed pointless if a rat might still be present. The place is otherwise decent, but the rat issue needs to be addressed and the cleanliness is not up to standard.

Initially I booked a dorm bed, then switched to a private room, and everything worked out well.
