It was within walking distance to Marine Messe Fukuoka, which was great. I wish the amenities were listed as paid.

The place has a very nice and friendly atmosphere; it’s cosy, clean, feels safe, and all the staff are great! I especially liked that the building is an old wooden structure with rooms floored in tatami mats. The small garden is also very nice. What more could I ask for while in Japan? Keep up the good spirit! Thanks for everything! 😊 Zara (Bulgaria 🇧🇬) At the start there were quite a few people, some staying late or waking early, preparing luggage, so I couldn’t sleep well enough. But that’s not the guesthouse’s fault. One important piece of feedback: why are the lights and air‑cons on all the time, even when rooms and bathrooms are empty during the day or downstairs at night? (It would be better to let in fresh air more often). SHIP claims to be eco‑mindful, but this particular issue left a negative impression. Also, please water regularly and take better care of the two tiny plants above the shoe shelf—the spider plant and the cactus.

Walking from Hakata Station is a 30‑minute stroll to the center, which I don’t mind; the bus is also available. However, the wall paint in the bed near the wall leaked, making the bed look sad.

We arrived with eight girls in the dorm. Next to us was a father with his two sons. In the mixed dorm downstairs there were at least eight beds. The common area wasn’t designed for so many people, and there were only two showers and one toilet each for men and women. We received a duvet cover and a pillowcase, but no blanket—hopefully it gets washed for each guest.
