The welcome was great, with a pleasant host and a nice terrace that had a well‑kept garden in front of the chalet, located in a quiet, planned neighborhood 2 km from the Plitvice parking lot 2. Parking was easy. The on‑site restaurant served a good breakfast. The only downside was the lack of a pedestrian path or bike trail to the entrance of parking lot 2, but that was not the fault of the staff.

The property was just a few miles from the Plitvice entrance, fitting the rustic vibe of the area. The bed was comfortable and the Wi‑Fi worked. The staff were very friendly, though hard to locate. Breakfast was good but a bit pricey at 12.5 € per person. I didn’t like the note in the unit saying “no eating or drinking in the unit.” If you book the superior double room and have luggage, ask ahead about the spiral staircase. We stayed in an attic unit, so we had to carry our luggage to the first floor and then up the spiral staircase to the attic.
