How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The lodge was spotless overall, but my stay at Thamalakane Lodge was only average; the breakfast selection was narrow and an omelette would have added useful variety, and after paying for taxis I never used the service and still haven’t received a refund—better communication and faster resolution would help future guests.

The location is lovely and the staff are friendly, but there is no Starlink in the rooms.

Lovely cabin on the river, a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very helpful.

Big bright airy rooms, easy to reach, staff were genuinely friendly, and the value for money was solid compared to many other places. The water came from a borehole and tasted brown, so a purification system would help, though they did provide bottled water.

The hotel overcharged me $50 for a hotel‑to‑airport transfer that normally costs $10; I won’t use it again.
