I liked the location. What we saw after arriving was very different from how the accommodation looked in the photos in the listing. I was honestly very surprised and disappointed by the conditions. In reality, this accommodation is basically located in the entrance/stairwell area of the building — it feels like a door was simply installed there and the space was turned into a separate accommodation. The entrance is directly next to the shared staircase and passageway. It does not feel like a normal private apartment at all. The worst part is that the entrance door is transparent. When someone comes into the building from outside, they can immediately see through the door what is happening inside. There is no proper privacy. The door was also constantly banging and making noise because every time someone entered or left the building, we could hear it directly. With a small child, it was very uncomfortable, especially at night. The accommodation was very cold. There is tiled flooring everywhere, and the floor was literally freezing. Since the space is basically right in the entrance area of the building, the cold was constantly noticeable inside. It did not feel like a normal warm apartment at all. This was especially uncomfortable with a three-year-old child. Another problem is that there are no proper windows and it is practically impossible to ventilate the room properly. There is no normal window in the bedroom that can be opened. The air felt heavy and there was no proper natural ventilation. Another major problem was washing and drying clothes. There is no washing machine in the accommodation at all. We only stayed for three days and we were there with a small child, so naturally we needed to wash his clothes. There is a drying rack, but I honestly do not understand what it is supposed to be used for in these conditions, because the clothes simply do not dry properly
The accommodation was clean and roomy, could host 6 people, and the staff were available and communicated right away. However, it had no windows at all, and I don’t think it met fire regulations.
The location is excellent, but the street parking is very expensive.
“Confortable”
The rooms were very spacious, with large, comfortable beds.
The whole night the fan in the toilet kept humming, and the front door could have been sealed better; the glass in the hallway made me nervous.
