Everything was terrible: the room looked awful, had a bad smell, no hot water, the toilet seat was broken, and Wi‑Fi didn’t work. We quickly decided to leave and found a more suitable hotel. I had already paid the full deposit to the owner just to get rid of the accommodation, and overall it was a really bad experience.

The staff were very friendly, the place was quiet, the room was clean and comfortable, and the value for money in Tongatapu was excellent.

The room was clean but rather old, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was outside the city, but a rental car made it no problem.

The shuttle driver was on time both ways, the bed was comfortable, and the room was reasonably clean and tidy; however, the location was inconvenient, EFTPOS didn’t work so I had to find an ATM and pay in cash, breakfasts were repetitive, there were no cheerful Tongans, the boss lady tried her best but was out of her depth, and on my last two nights a team of painters invaded my private balcony area, were rude, smoked, didn’t even say hello, just stared at me; the staff didn’t warn me about the work, and this definitely wasn’t a place that deserves 10/10 reviews 😩.

I would not recommend that hotel; it’s super old and far from the center, and they tried to charge me more than the booking price by using their own exchange rate.
