Very good welcome from Marie and Jean Claude in a great setting. Marie is an excellent cook and always available, as is Jean Claude to help. It would be a real shame to miss out on their culinary skills. Breakfasts are hearty, adding to the charm of this service. The room was a bit small but very clean.

The service from Jean Claude and his wife is very welcoming and kind. I loved feeling like I was on a farm in the middle of the woods. As foreigners in France, my wife and I wanted an experience like that, and I can’t thank them enough for the opportunity we had to stay with them. The conversation, even with the language barrier, was warm and the breakfast they gave us was fantastic. I only have gratitude for them. The location is a bit far from Amboise, but nothing annoying if you drive with GPS. Maybe just add that if you’re arachnophobic, avoid it, because it’s inevitable in the countryside, but it didn’t bother us.

An exceptional cottage, welcoming and very friendly hosts. The surrounding countryside is superb, animals in the wild… All positive in every way. I’m delighted with my stay. Absolutely nothing negative.
