Even though security staff were present, they failed to notice the guest’s arrival and did not open the door. With no receptionist available at that moment, the guest couldn’t enter smoothly and had to wait.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and came with a television, fridge, and electric jug. Breakfast was good value. There were several water outages, and one day the electricity supply was interrupted. It wasn’t too bad and is common in less developed countries.

The place sits in a convenient spot, just a short walk from a bus stop and several eateries, and there were no particular issues to note.

The room itself was acceptable, but I arrived and couldn't get inside for 40 minutes; the Uber driver was helpful and eventually got me in. Two heavy security gates and a locked front door made it feel like I needed to call a staff member every time I wanted to enter or exit, and because my phone was unusable and I hadn't got a SIM, I felt trapped. If I tried to leave, I probably wouldn't be able to re-enter, so I left as soon as I could. Breakfast was offered, but I just wanted to leave.
