The onsen’s flowing Mo‑ra spring water was a highlight, but the facility showed serious wear: the carpet was heavily worn, the walls were dirty and lacked any sense of cleanliness. The buffet offered very few choices, with only two types of sashimi—squid and salmon—and the freshness was poor; the other dishes were generally not tasty. Moreover, the staff showed little attentiveness, which was disappointing.

Every time we passed a staff member they greeted us, which was really nice, and the small children’s play area was a plus. Yet, despite paying nearly ¥180,000 for two rooms for four people over two nights with breakfast only, the floor in the rooms creaked loudly with each step, waking our little daughter and ruining her sleep. Adjusting the shower temperature was a struggle, taking a long time to reach a comfortable setting. At night, even though it was just under 26 °C, the room felt excessively cold, and in the morning when I tried to cool the room to about 21 °C with strong wind, it didn’t cool at all, leaving me drenched in sweat.

I was pleased with the one-night stay package, which included meals. The food was quite good. However, there were some minor issues that could be improved upon.

The hotel's proximity to a convenience store was very convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Although the facilities showed signs of aging, they were well-maintained, creating a surprisingly comfortable atmosphere. I also appreciated the convenience store just a short walk away, which made shopping for essentials easy. The spacious parking lot was another plus. However, I would advise against evening strolls due to the presence of wild boars in the area.
