It was my first stay at the hotel and everything was great; the staff were top notch. I usually stay in Dover, but things have been rough there lately, so I felt safe here. The desk light in my room wouldn’t turn off; I was late, settled, and needed to sleep, so I didn’t call because I thought it might go off after a while, but it stayed on all night.

Everything about this hotel impressed me: it’s spotless, the staff are consistently friendly, and the location is perfect when I visit Delaware. The only downside is how much the rates can swing.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room stayed clean. We were told to pay a $20 incidental fee, but at checkout we learned we’d only receive $14 back and that the remaining $6 was a county fee we hadn’t been warned about—this was disappointing.
