Although the booking was confirmed, the entire hotel and restaurant were occupied for a wedding; we had to cycle 11 km in the opposite direction to Châteauneuf-sur-Loire to find another hotel where we were warmly welcomed.

The host was available and friendly, the site was beautiful, and the serenity and calm were impressive, all complemented by a carefully prepared breakfast. The floor creaks a little, but that’s the charm of an old castle.

The proximity to our event venue was convenient. The room was outside the hotel as requested, but it offered little comfort – very little storage, poor heating, and the outside was muddy with animal droppings. The price‑quality ratio needs reconsideration.
