“Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in Genua”

The rooms are functional and lovingly decorated; they’re not large, but everything needed for a comfortable stay is there. They’re newly renovated and very clean. The hosts understand their business, and the reception and service are exemplary, always warm and helpful. We followed the host’s restaurant and sightseeing tips in Genoa and were very happy. The Hotel Bologna in Genoa is highly recommended. Google Maps led us through narrow, somewhat unpleasant alleys to the hotel – access via Via Balbi is much nicer. The parking entrance is quite tight, but the hosts gladly help to get it sorted.

The location and the owners’ friendliness are positives, but parking access is very difficult; the owners are kind and help you park, yet there’s no elevator and reaching the fourth floor with luggage is tough. We saw some odd people at the hotel entrance.
