The spot is perfect, check‑in and check‑out were smooth, and the owner was very friendly, offering plenty of tips. However, the place needs serious upkeep and cleaning; the air‑con in our room was noisy, the shower sprayed water more toward the wall than down, and the night reception was awful—when we rang the bell around 23:30, no one answered, we had to call the owner to get someone to open the gate, and we ended up standing outside for about 30–40 minutes.

The location is great for a game at The Maracanã, and the door and ceiling designs are fun. Inside, it’s dark and the AC is loud but functional, and the staff before check‑in were unresponsive. The “rooms” are actually individual shipping containers.

The room was clean and comfortable, and being just a short walk from the Maracanã stadium was incredibly convenient. The only drawback was that the leisure facilities were off‑site, so you have to leave the property to use a pool or gym.

Being right next to the Maracanã made getting to the event a breeze, but the building itself feels dated – the photos show a nicer look than what you actually see, and several areas clearly need renovation.
