We arrived in mid‑July at Bergkvara, where across from the property a lovely campsite with a restaurant offered excellent value for lunch; strolling around was delightful, and the warm weather let us swim in the Baltic Sea. The apartment we rented was spacious, fully equipped, and the owners greeted us warmly on the first day, almost like family. Breakfast could be added for a fee and is highly recommended; after the first morning it was clear that it was rich, tailored, and hard to beat. The bedroom beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The location is superb, directly opposite the sea. In the afternoon we relaxed on the balcony with a good cup of coffee, watching the sea, which was very soothing. We left feeling we’d rather have stayed a few more days, but we had to return home. Warm regards to Petra and Reiner from the owners.

We enjoyed evenings on the terrace with a welcome beer and sea views, breakfast in the winter garden, and the calmness in the evenings, creating a very relaxing atmosphere and a highly courteous host.

The breakfast was fantastic, especially the freshly baked rolls, chocolate croissants, and smoothies. The well‑maintained, beautifully designed garden with partially sheltered seating was inviting for lingering and breakfast, and it felt cozy in the evenings with candlelight. The hosts were extremely courteous and helpful, shining with local knowledge, particularly the southern beach spot, which is idyllic. Nothing negative; the view, even with a small freight harbor and storage area in sight, did not bother us.
