This is the best hotel in Ho Chi Minh for value; on my second visit they upgraded our standard room to a luxe one as a compliment, which was amazing; the staff truly cared about us and our needs—thank you very much; everything else was fine.

The area is full of local food stalls and convenient, and the Ben Thanh Market is within walking distance; the room layout clearly separates the dining area from the bedroom, which was very usable; the room faced the street, so the voices of people and motorbike noise at night were a bit annoying; there was enough space, so a luggage table would have been handy; the kitchen would have benefited from having plates.

The female staff were exceptionally warm and friendly; the room was clean; the location is very convenient in District 1 and right in an area with great restaurants; I’ll come back for work.

Breakfast was served, and the staff personally curated local must‑haves that we looked forward to each morning; the room is huge, the bed immaculate, well lit, and the balcony offers a view of the HCMC skyline; the adjoining spa “Ther” is just steps away, so we visited every day even before our flight; there is nothing I dislike except seeing more people enjoy and experience downtown HCMC with this hotel’s hospitality.

I stay in 20 to 30 studio apartments worldwide each year, and this one is excellent and clean—very clean; the shower pressure and water temperature are the best I’ve had in years; the bed is very comfortable; the staff are friendly and helpful; the Wi‑Fi is excellent; the kitchen is beautiful, but oddly missing cooking tools; I was disappointed by the lack of basic kitchenware: the kitchen only had a kettle, two cups, a worn frying pan, four knives, and two cereal bowls; the host added a few extras when asked, but a property advertised with a kitchen should start with adequate saucepans, utensils, dish detergent, dishcloths, and salt/pepper.
