Located in the center on the edge of the old town, the building was shabby. We were supposedly offered another apartment due to a double booking, but it didn't meet the promised conditions and we didn't want to stay there. There were too few bedrooms for the number of people, meaning someone would have had to sleep in the living room or a niche. A storage room was so clogged that the door wouldn't open. The bathroom mirror and the coffee machine were brought into the apartment at our special request. It had structural defects, some of which were dangerous, and obvious wear, with no adequate replacement. A reasonable mediation between us and the host was impossible on site. The originally booked penthouse apartment was never shown to us! Everything was explained as normal in Bucharest, claiming the apartment was worn from parties that had taken place there. It was repeatedly stated that parties are not allowed. I made a video tour of the apartment, which I cannot upload here. The originally offered penthouse looks, if anything, the same. It could also be a scam. The customer service promised, after 30 minutes in the phone queue, a clarification within 45 minutes, then within 48 hours. In the meantime we are back home. The weekend in Bucharest to finish our Romania trip is over and we stayed at a great hotel at our own expense. The host and customer service are underground! Clear recommendation: don't book and block the host on the platform!
