Lan Rung Beach Resort

The room was okay. The buffet dinner with fireworks on 2/9 was spectacular, so I booked a meal for the whole family. At the last minute they said it was a set menu. If it was good, I’d be fine, but the set menu was described in very fancy terms while in reality there were only a few shrimp and nothing special. The fireworks looked boring; I bought my own to fire. The beach was built up, not natural. The waves were big, making it hard to swim.

The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice, and it’s next to the beach. The air‑conditioning stopped working, they fixed it and then it broke again, and there was no offer to change rooms. I was disappointed—this was supposed to be a 5‑star place, but it felt more like a 2‑star with screaming kids in the corridors at night.

Close to the coast, a large pool, and tasty breakfast. The room’s interior looked old‑fashioned, the sofa was extremely old, and the chairs on the balcony were faded and not very good looking.

The staff were very welcoming and caring, the pools were very clean, the rooms were well equipped and spacious, and the sea view from the balcony was very relaxing. Access to the sea was a real plus. The restaurant offered many dishes and breakfast was very generous.

“Would not recommend at all, overpriced for the experience we received”

The pool and beach were the best parts of the hotel. The beach was clean, and the shaded pool was great for escaping the sun. The reception staff were rude, chatting about my family without realizing my husband could understand them. Breakfast was okay, but the layout was chaotic.
