The breakfast was five‑star quality, the owner was polite, the facilities were complete, the environment was very comfortable, and the air was fresh—everything was great, and I’ll definitely return. The scenery, water, and location were wonderful, and the local shops were friendly and interesting; sometimes you have to experience it yourself. The breakfast was again five‑star, the owner very courteous, the equipment fully equipped, the surroundings very pleasant, the air fresh, and everything was superb, so I’ll come back many times.

“A warm, memorable homestay with an incredibly friendly host”

I couldn’t have asked for a better host while in Taiwan; the couple running this homestay were extremely friendly, the man a retired professor, and both spoke English. They made sure I was always well fed with delicious homemade food, and the house itself was lovely, clean, and comfortable. I arrived by bike and could leave it on the patio, and in the evening the host offered to drive me to dinner and pick up ice cream on the way back. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Taiwan who wants a genuine, memorable experience. Everything was perfect.

Sam and Esther are very warm, friendly people who speak good English and give good suggestions. The house is not far from the train station. Sam designed the house so it stays cool in summer. After a nice walk in the evening we had a delicious local pizza. The breakfast the next day was also very good (and actually a bit too much for us). My son forgot a cuddle, and they sent it to us later. This is truly recommended for everyone.
