I booked at the last minute and had trouble with my email. When I arrived they offered me another place, Aires da Serra, which was about ten minutes away. It was fine, a small hotel, very quiet with a good breakfast.

João welcomed me warmly and I liked the facilities. A quiet spot, perfect for relaxing. The location shown on Booking sent me to a different place.

The place offered complete privacy—no other guests or even a receptionist were around, which I appreciated. The owner himself was very accommodating during check‑in, but the room had a strong mouldy smell that made the stay less pleasant.
