The central location was great.

The reception was empty and the door was left open for anyone to walk in. We called the listed number and were told as if nothing was wrong, that we could go behind the counter and grab the keys ourselves. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was not served because the bar was closed. When we entered the room the door was open, there was a strong odor and the toilet had feces in view, with stains reaching the rim. The shower was covered in hair, there were underwear in the bucket and paper stained with feces. On the sofa there was a large stain whose origin I do not want to discover. We used a small towel to dry our hands after washing them, the only service we used. We left immediately afterwards and now the host is demanding a refund, claiming that because we used the towel we are not entitled to it. He also insinuates that we took a shower… Incomprehensible. I strongly advise against staying here, especially because of the managers.

No elevator. A lot of noise outside the hotel… it was a party.

The location is super central, the staff were friendly, the room was modernly furnished in a historic building, spacious and adequately soundproofed, with a small fridge. A few steps away are bars, a pizzeria, a gelato shop and many services. Free parking is right nearby. Breakfast was classic with brioche and cappuccino/café. We stayed during the week so there was no issue with the ZTL. The building is historic so there is no elevator; stairs are used to reach the rooms.
