Andreas ran a charming 4‑room place right on the GR65, just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. The town of Arthez‑de‑Bearn is a bit odd (almost nothing open on Sunday nights), but Andreas showed us where to grab a pre‑dinner drink and a pizza, suggested we bring it back to the guesthouse, and even set up a table for it! The room was lovely, and breakfast the next morning was exceptional. No faults at all.

The owner was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Stylish décor. Nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

The host was very accommodating and did a lot for me. The room and the place were nice. They offered secure bike parking, but honestly the small car park opposite was just as good. The area was very safe and nice. 100 % recommended. The only minor gripe was the pillow – I’d have liked something softer, but that’s just my preference. Also a fan would have helped with the heat, since there was no air‑conditioning.
