“Salamajarvi stop”
The venue is well positioned for launching hikes from the park, but the building isn’t sound‑proof.
“Sisätilamajoitus omien eväiden kanssa”
The place feels more like a cozy camp school than a car‑park stay, with running hot water, toilets, a big kitchen and fridges. When booking through the site, sheets and towels are included, so bring your own snacks. The sauna slot is a lovely bonus, costing 30 e/hour directly from the host, and despite the price it’s worth it, especially the swim area right out of the sauna.
“Nappipaikka yöpyä jos ja kun lähtee päiväretkille tai vaeltamaan Salamajärven reiteille.”
We used the shared kitchen to make our own breakfast, and the spot itself was truly gorgeous.
“Mukava paikka keskellä kansallispuistoa”
The location is lovely in the middle of nature, the room is comfortable and functional, the rental sauna feels cozy and it’s nice to swim there, and the national park trails start right outside the lodging, but the sound insulation is poor.
Surrounded by beautiful nature.
