Several stink bugs appeared in the room. The desk hadn’t been cleaned and had stains that looked like cup marks. The air conditioner didn’t work, the hair dryer was weak, and there were few outlets. The large bath’s shower didn’t produce much water. I had no note about the room’s bath when I booked, and I wasn’t told about it at reception either.

A single foreign staff member was on duty, looking busy but clearly working hard, which left me moderately satisfied. The bathroom had a tiny amount of water inside, and if the upper floor also had a toilet, I wondered if urine might be leaking, which was not very reassuring.
