Nice staff, great food, good location. Room 4 was noisy: an extractor outside blasted music from 10 pm to 10:30 pm and early in the morning, apparently from the kitchen. I couldn’t wash or dry my hair, no plug near the mirror. The room felt cramped for the price, although it was nicely finished.

The venue was great, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant excellent too, though we only had breakfast; the service was quick and very friendly. The bedding cleanliness could have been better, there was a stain on the sheet, so clearly the sheet hadn’t been changed from the last guests, otherwise everything was good.

The room was comfortable and charming, a good size with thoughtful touches. If it had been a busy summer night, I’d expect noise from the beer gardens, but on a colder mid‑week night that wasn’t an issue.

The pub had tasty food that didn't break the bank, and the breakfast was included. I liked the outdoor seating spots. The mattress felt hard and the pillows were small and lumpy, plus the stairs to the room were steep and angled.
