I liked the location, the staff, and the kitchen, but the hallway floor was creaking and the place smelled bad.

The spot on main street was great, the vibe was relaxed, and the staff were friendly yet professional; the lounge was spacious with a kettle, tea, and coffee, and the kitchen was handy for cooking. The bike shed outside looked more like a tool shed and felt a little disorganized.

The shared bedroom lacked a bit of storage.

We’re not typical hostel types and usually prefer other kinds of accommodations, but among those we’ve tried, this one turned out to be one of the best. It’s in the heart of Pitlochry with a convenient rear parking lot (the stairs are a bit less convenient for luggage, but we managed). The staff were very kind and super helpful. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed; the bathroom was a bit small but fine for a single night. Even though it’s in the middle of town on a busy street with many guests, it was still quiet, which we really appreciated.

A localização é excelente, na rua principal, rodeado de cafés e restaurantes. O chuveiro de um dos quartos estava meio frio, mas pode ser só regulagem
