The room was tidy and the spot worked well for our plans, especially since my husband booked a trail bike tour nearby. We could even stream Netflix. On the downside, there were a lot of flies and the hot springs were more like warm springs, which also fed the indoor shower water.

We were warmly welcomed, and the room felt like a cozy little cocoon. The location is quite remote, in the fields—very quiet and pleasant but with plenty of flies! We ordered food from the restaurant the hotel partners with; it was tasty and inexpensive. The lunch was good.

I had high hopes because of the glowing reviews, but the narrow road turned into a dirt track, making it hard to locate the place and haul our luggage in, especially since the driver saw the 'road' and split. The so‑called 'jacuzzi' was just a hot tub, nothing special. The fountain worked sporadically and the water kept spilling onto the patio. At night the bathroom felt like a dark grotto, with a dirty, smelly sink and, of course, flies. We couldn’t relax outside, so we left after one night. No refund was offered because “we had already booked and now another traveller couldn’t book it.” That’s nonsense since the place was empty except for us. It’s cheap, but for that price you can find a much better spot.

The Jacuzzi was amazing! The rooms were cozy and the staff were nice. Flies were a problem—kintamani is known for them—but having breakfast felt a bit stressful because of the insects. I’d suggest improving the breakfast cooking a bit.
