The reception was initially quite good, with a small tasting of wines from the vineyard, but we quickly felt the owner had more important things to do than host guests. His wife took over the room tour and basic information, then said goodbye just as fast. We had booked two rooms because Booking said the restaurant would be open for dinner on our arrival date. As we were four cyclists, that mattered a lot—we didn’t want to leave for dinner and enjoy the place in the late afternoon by the pool. Without any apology or explanation, we were simply told the restaurant was closed and we had to go elsewhere for dinner. Our evening didn’t go as we imagined, but the rest was fine. The on‑site restaurant was closed even though Booking said otherwise, and it’s outside the city.
Amazing breakfast on request. Great dinner made from local ingredients. Excellent wine, the owners are very friendly. Beautiful place to rest and relax!
A fantastic breakfast, lovely atmosphere right in the middle of Venosa's wine hills, and a gorgeous pool area.

Wonderful location among the vineyards in a very quiet setting. A good pool with nice loungers. The reception was odd. A friendly man welcomed us but spoke neither English nor Italian. The room was small and awkwardly arranged. The shower was tiny and the drain was blocked. We opted for the wine experience with a possible tasting, but we didn’t find it. The restaurant was open one evening. We chose our own wines, which were delicious, but received no explanation, even when we asked. In short, we found it very impersonal and not really a tenuta.
