The scenery was beautiful and the staff were friendly. Cleaning needs improvement; on Sunday we found hair in the bathroom and the bedside mats were not clean. Some electric blankets didn’t work, and the tap/shower water is hard water, which should be declared on the website.

Location and nature made it a lovely venue. The host was not present; although everything was lovely, it made a difference not to be welcomed. No receipt on arrival, but the key was available at the Guestroom door, so accessing our room was fine.

Good value for money. Some rooms were outdated accommodation that felt like a dorm; showers were cold in some of the rooms.

The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by rolling countryside, and the venue itself is a lovely old building. It's a shame they don't have a microwave in the room, but we managed to make do with the plan we'd brought.
