I didn’t realize the rooms were accessed from outside the main building; they were very basic and overpriced.
“Overnight stop off before Inverness”
The adjoining pub stayed open late, giving a peaceful vibe, but the shower cubicles were tiny.

The place looked lovely and the welcome was warm; the Scottish breakfast was nice, the bed was comfy, and the location was quiet, but the shower leaked a bit from the hose and a big spider appeared in the bedroom, though it’s a country setting.
It was on the route, but damp, musty, and stale.
