The house sits in a quiet village, conveniently close to the D-Day beaches, Bayeux, and Caen. The garden is nice, parking is available, and the jacuzzi itself seems fine. However, the property does not match the listing description, especially the family room. Despite the “private bathroom” claim, the toilet and bath were in a hallway shared with other guests, and this was not disclosed before arrival. The “library” was closed and inaccessible, the living room had no TV, and the advertised children’s books were missing; the sauna and jacuzzi were in a cold annex building with no doors, making them unusable comfortably in October. Breakfast was very modest, and the host’s attitude—refusing to address factual complaints and instead arguing—made the stay unpleasant for the whole family.
