“Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis”
The breakfast was very good and the location near Naumburg Cathedral and the city center is excellent, but there were long, dark hairs in the bathroom.

The location was great and everything was clean and tidy, but the breakfast was stingy for a 4‑star hotel. Only two kinds of rolls were offered, which felt too few. The parking was a few hundred meters away, something that wasn’t mentioned during booking (not too far, but it would have been nice to know beforehand). I expected more than just shower gel and hand towels in the free toiletries. Also, check‑in or parking the car beforehand wasn’t possible.

Getting to the hotel from the train station is easy, the central location is great for sights, and there’s a bus stop right in front of the building. Breakfast offered a good variety, including fruit and cakes, and the beds were very comfortable. However, our room was on the first floor facing the street, and we couldn’t leave the window open because it was too noisy even when shut. Bathroom lighting was minimal, and early in the morning we could smell the breakfast aromas. The rolls weren’t refilled, and with a travel group we found the space cramped and restocking was slow. Once we were moved to a side room, we were forgotten for coffee. In the evening at the bar we received stale crackers. The staff seemed unfriendly, and a water bottle on the room would have been nice.

The hotel’s proximity to the pedestrian zone and the cathedral is great. Our parking, costing 9,50 € per night, was a few minutes away but secured. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant food was tasty. The breakfast room, restaurant (with a fireplace and old blacksmith tools), and lobby had a lovely atmosphere. What didn’t appeal was that we had a spacious attic room with a couch; a small table to put drinks while watching TV would have been nice, though we improvised with a stool from the bathroom. Breakfast included filter coffee, excellent teas, juices, and water. Some guests repeatedly asked for cocoa and cappuccino, but they didn’t understand it wasn’t available. There were two kinds of rolls and bread, plenty of cold cuts, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and an English breakfast; we had plenty of choices. Small cakes were only offered on Sunday and Monday, then not again. Also, the feather‑top pillows were not great, but if we had asked, we probably could have gotten different ones. The beds were still super comfortable.
