The location is perfect, for the price this place is perfect. It depends what you are looking for, the bed and bathroom are good, work well, and the building is amazing and quirky. You can't fault it at all for the price and location. At first I Wished my room had a window, but you learn why they don't have a window, as most of the buildings don't here due to how they were built by the Dutch. So you just have to get over it :) don't let that put you off staying in a old Dutch house built 100s of years ago! :)

The location is very strategic, and there were no negatives.

The place is strategic and near attractions; I only walked to Jonker Walk, Makan Avenue, Jeti Queyside River Cruise, and Kampung Morten. The décor and old building structure are unique, but it isn’t suitable for fussy guests; the sheets and pillowcases were slightly yellowish, and the hotel’s name suggests a budget option, so guests need to bring their own toiletries.
