“Location good, but that's about it”

The spot is spot on, right near everything, and the breakfast was decent. The rooms feel old‑fashioned and cramped, and the service is lacking; the website says the reception is manned 24 hours, but that’s not true.

“Good location”

The room was spotless, the staff were very friendly, and the location is unbeatable for getting to Hagia Sophia; the breakfast was simple but plentiful. The TV wouldn’t turn off and stayed stuck on a football channel for all four nights, and the staff seemed unconcerned, saying it’s a long‑standing issue; we eventually found a way to mute the sound, which was still annoying. The overhead shower was just for show, so we had to use the hand shower instead.

The location was great, and the breakfast restaurant staff were wonderful. The reception was disappointing, with staff often away from the desk and a sense of insecurity. In the room, there was no trash can or tissues in the bedroom, the hair dryer and TV remote didn’t work, and the soundproofing was poor, letting us hear the neighbors.

The best thing about the hotel is its location, the bathroom was good, breakfast was fine, and the view of the Bosphorus from the terrace was lovely. They had single beds, which we needed, and they gave us water every day and had a fridge. The staff’s service was zero; they never greeted us, and the place felt insecure with anyone allowed in. Towels had holes and were worn out; the parts were not repaired for several days; we had five rooms, the curtains didn’t block the whole window, letting light in. There were many steps, so we tripped often. The elevator is on the second floor, so it’s not suitable for disabled guests.
