The chalet sits right on the lake, which is just perfect. It’s huge and gave us plenty of space to spread out. Everything felt clean and the view was unbeatable.

We were originally told we’d be staying two kilometres into the village, but ended up at a water‑side apartment in the same host’s vacation park. The upgrade turned out to be a nice surprise – the place was comfortable and right by the water. Still, it would have been better if they’d let us know about the location change before we arrived.

They bumped us up to a four‑bedroom house in their resort, which was spacious, spotless and came with a pool, park, supermarket and a lake just a hundred metres away. The view was gorgeous and we’d definitely stay there again. No complaints at all.

The staff at DOMIO Resort handled the situation well, moving us to another booking without any extra charge, so we had a roof over our heads after the surprise. The catch was that the original property was temporarily closed, which we only discovered on arrival, and we had to lug our luggage two kilometres to the new site. It’s a hassle you don’t want on a happy occasion, so double‑check the address before you book.

Inside, the apartment was tidy, well‑furnished and the view was beautiful; we even got a generous breakfast (though we had to go to the key pick‑up point for it). The photos, however, were misleading – the place looked more like an abandoned house than a functional flat, and the key had to be collected elsewhere, with only a note on the door pointing the way. On top of that, the Wi‑Fi was pretty weak.
