The room was pretty, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked because of an event, so we had to go out to dinner in the village, but that turned out to be great too.
Breakfast was very good and the room was also very good. The room would have been better on the ground floor for my father (94 years old), but it worked out.
The location is quiet, but the building is aging and urgently needs renovation. The breakfast was good in a pleasant setting, and the staff were friendly.

The room did not match the description – the only good thing was the bed – and it smelled oddly like kitchen odors that couldn't be pinpointed; even with constant airing, the stink didn’t go away. The bathroom was old‑fashioned with a very shallow shower tray that you can't get into if you have knee problems. It looked like the place was still being renovated, and that should have been mentioned in the description. This was the first time I couldn’t rely on the description, and I’m very disappointed.
