“We loved the location”
I loved how close it was to central Madrid and how easy it was to get around. The Wi‑Fi never worked, even though there were supposedly many options; only two networks appeared on our phones.

Hostal Bruña Paseo del Prado sits in Madrid’s historic center, directly opposite the Prado Museum. Its 24‑hour reception, private‑bath rooms, free Wi‑Fi, flat‑screen TVs, desks, and hairdryers combine functional décor with modern comfort. Steps from tapas bars, the Sol District, Thyssen‑Bornemisza, Reina Sofía, and Retiro Park, it offers a convenient, culturally rich stay.

We were just staying overnight to catch a flight the next day, so it was perfect for us. The room was small.

The service and location were excellent, and the cleanliness was perfect—very important. The room smelled like fried food; I think the scent came through the window from the light patio.

The room was spotless, well maintained, and the location was wonderful. After checking out, they stored my luggage so I could wander Madrid a bit longer. I didn’t get a street‑view window (they didn’t offer one), but neighbors from the adjacent building were noisy late at night, so I had to shut my window. There was air‑conditioning (though I didn’t need it) and a TV.

The spot’s location, cleanliness, and the charming big old house all hit the mark.
