The staff were very attentive, even waiting for us at breakfast despite arriving two hours late, which we didn’t expect—thanks for that. Breakfast offered eggs, fruit and vegetables, simit, bread, spreads, cheese, tea and water; nothing special but plenty. The air‑conditioning worked well and looked brand new. The hotel’s location was good, about a 10‑15‑minute walk from the clock tower in the centre, with a tram running right past. Our car was first parked in the lot and then moved to a spot directly in front of the main entrance (the only downside was having to hand over the keys, though that caused no issues). The building is showing its age and definitely needs renovation; the rooms smelled faintly of cigarettes and the hallway lighting was rather dim.
