The hotel is in a fantastic spot, surrounded by a lush, historic park on the slopes of Etna, the climate is perfect, the common areas are good, the on‑site restaurant serves great food, and the breakfast is basic but satisfying. The smallest room is uncomfortable because it has no outlet, no light switch, and no bedside reading light; the lady running the place fixed it quickly, thanks.

Manuela, the onsite manager, is a delight, energetic, and very helpful. The property is a villa with several units on a large family estate, a park, and a nearby winery. The on‑site restaurant offers classic Sicilian dishes in multiple courses. The separate breakfast room feels like a genuine Sicilian wine‑country home kitchen and dining area. Walking around the grounds lets you appreciate the history and grandeur of Parco Statella. I highly recommend it, and the picturesque town of Randazzo is just five minutes away. The only downside was that our two‑bedroom unit didn’t have a kitchen, which wasn’t a problem since we ate at the breakfast room, the on‑site restaurant, and in town. A sink, wine, and drinking glasses would have made it more convenient, but Manuela supplied wine glasses and a corkscrew when we asked, and did so surprisingly quickly.

The house has historic value, surrounded by a huge park with unique plants. The mattress was slightly smaller than the iron historic bed.
