“El mejor Homestay de los 4 que estuvimos en Raja Ampat”
The best Homestay among the four we stayed at in Raja Ampat. It’s more of a place than a family, which we didn’t like, but it was perfect. The whole area is well maintained, the sand is brushed daily, and they offer a snack at 17:00. A 10‑minute walk across the island takes you to an amazing crystal‑clear beach. Our guide Vence helped with everything—excursions, transfers, a cork box (used as a fridge), and buying ice at the island’s village. He also got us beers from a local guy (very expensive, 100k each). It’s important to know that there are no rats roaming the rooms, which is crucial for rest. Mobile data is very limited, just enough for WhatsApp, Google Maps, but impossible to post videos on WhatsApp or Instagram (nothing bad happens, but good to know). Across the walk on the other side of the island, the internet is a bit better.
