The spot was convenient, but the room felt cramped and old‑fashioned, only a skylight for light and no window at all. I wasn’t a fan of the digital check‑in; once it finally worked it was fine, but the whole process was a hassle.

I stayed in studio 113 on the ground floor, a brand‑new place that’s not a heritage hotel but still super comfy and spotless. The location is spot‑on, right across from Mariamman Temple in the heart of Chinatown. Edmar was a big help, lending me an adaptor after I’d forgotten mine. Overall, a great stay! The only drawback was the online check‑in, which felt a bit tedious because you have to fill out forms, scan your passport, and upload a photo, though the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It’s a minor issue for those who aren’t worried about privacy.
