The property does not exist under this name. When we arrived, we discovered that the property had changed hands, there was no booking for us, and we were stranded in Blackpool with nowhere to stay.

We booked two rooms and received confirmation. At check‑in, we were told there was no record of our booking and the hotel was full. The manager had taken our money and said there would be no refund. Many others were told the same thing. We were in town for the Lytham festival, so most hotels were fully booked.

Nothing positive. We booked and paid, yet they claimed “they couldn’t find the booking” even though we had prior correspondence. We could not get in.

Nothing positive. I made a booking in November and paid in June, but when I arrived 10 minutes before check‑in, I was rudely told the rooms weren’t ready. I showed my confirmation emails and payment proof, and the receptionist said the place was under new management and that all rooms booked before the takeover had been cancelled. No apology or assistance was offered. Another customer who walked in after me was told to contact them with proof of payment, and he was told “Well, I don’t know who’s got your money then.” I ended up staying at the Holiday Inn, which was fantastic with very polite and helpful staff. The reception staff were the only negative aspect.

I never even stayed at this hotel. I booked months in advance and paid upfront. On arrival, I was told the “management had run off with the money,” my booking no longer existed, and the hotel was fully booked. I had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. I’m still fighting for a refund, but they won’t refund me until they receive confirmation from the hotel. The hotel is not answering calls or emails, so I’m now involving my credit card company to help secure a refund.
