“A complete nightmare - misleading hotel listing, terrible conditions, zero amenities, and sleepless”
Absolutely nothing. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. The only remotely positive thing I can say is that the room looked somewhat similar to the listing photos. Unfortunately, the photographs do not reflect the actual condition of the property or how unpleasant it is to stay there. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this property! My wife and I had an absolutely terrible experience, and I genuinely regret booking this place. The misleading description The problems started immediately after booking. The owner called me and explained that nobody would be at the property when we arrived and that a housekeeper would come to collect our payment. This already seemed strange, so I specifically asked whether this was a hotel or an apartment. The owner explicitly told me it was a hotel. Upon arrival, however, we discovered something completely different. Instead of what I expected from a hotel, we found an old shared residential property divided into several rental units. The nightmare staircase To make matters worse, our accommodation was on the second floor, accessible only by an extremely narrow, winding staircase. There was no warning about how difficult access would be. My wife and I had arrived with several large, heavy suitcases because we were looking for a long-term apartment. Carrying all our luggage up that staircase was an absolute nightmare. The stairs were so narrow that even one person could barely navigate them comfortably, let alone someone carrying heavy luggage. The shocking condition of the building The entrance door had severely cracked glass, and there were also damaged or broken window panes inside the building. Everything looked neglected, poorly maintained, and far below what anyone should reasonably expect from paid accommodation. The condition of the entrance alone made an extremely negative first impression. The room and bathroom Although the room itself looked somewhat similar to the photographs, the actual living conditions were awful. The toilet regularly got stuck and did not function properly. The bathroom had visible dark stains along the tile joints and corners that looked like mold. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were unacceptable. The humidity inside the room was unbearable.
